One Palestinian official said his country opposes Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Gaza. He said the state visit is potentially splitting Palestinian unity. "Leaders of Palestine (West Bank) has informed the Government of Turkey that we are against the visit, because of the potential to deepen the divisions between the Palestinians," declared a senior Palestinian, told the Jerusalem Post, Thursday (28/03/2013).
