Being Fake Lawyer, 'Devil Advocate' Punished

An Italian man named Giovanni Di Stefano was convicted of alleged fraudsters. The man known as "Devils Advocate" is deceiving its clients by claiming to be lawyer. Di Stefano claims to be a great lawyer. He had accompanied the important people, such as former Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein, the president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, and the founder of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden.

But the 57-year-old man is often deceiving its clients by requiring them to pay a very large sum of money, but he does not have the legal qualification, and are not registered as a lawyer in Italy or in England. One of his lawyers, David Aaronberg said that Di Stefano enjoyed fame on a lie that he created.

"He is a man who is willing to provide legal services to clients whose cases are considered unwinnable or difficult to win," said Aaronberg.

Di Stefano was convicted at Southwark Crown Court on 25 fraud violations, fraud, money laundering and forgery allegedly committed between 2004 and 2012, as reported by Reuters on Thursday (03/28/2013). Di Stefano, who was born in the small town of Petrella Tifernina in Italy before moving to the UK, will be sentenced today.
