Swimming is one sport that is healthy. However, lingering in the pool will not only keep you hydrated, but it also causes some hair problems.

Cuticle Hair has a porous surface like a sponge. When swimming, hair absorbs all the heavy metals and chemicals from the pool water. As a result, hair becomes stiff, dry, and clear color change will interfere with performance. Before getting damaged hair, there are several ways you can do.

1. After swimming, dry hair with a towel. Pat gently so that water more rapidly absorbed into the towel.
2. Do not dry your hair by way of occasional rub. Rubbing your hair with a towel will only make the hair break or branched.
3. Pat hair with a towel also helps eliminate the chemicals that make shampoo and water easily penetrate the hair cuticle.
4. Once dry, wash your hair immediately after swimming with shampoo. Select the type of shampoo that has a label EDTA. The content of this helps in removing residual metal attached to the hair when swimming.
5. After shampooing, dry with a towel. Avoid using a hair dryer first. Use a hair dryer will only cause more hair brittle.
6. Then apply conditioner to restore moisture balance and natural hair.
7. Other tips, wet your hair with fresh water before entering the pool. Saturate the hair will reduce the absorption of various chemicals while swimming. Others, you can also wear head coverings while swimming.
8. Avoid cleaning the hair for a long time after the swim. Because the fear of metals in the water will be attached to the hair so that makes it even more damaged.
